Environmental Vulnerability index

The Environmental Vulnerability Index (EVI) is a vulnerability index for the natural environment. Environmental vulnerability is measured by 50 indicators related to climate change, biodiversity, water, agriculture and fisheries, human health aspects, desertification and exposure to natural disasters. Developed by the South Pacific Applied Geoscience Commission (SOPAC), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and their partners in 1999. Data available for 234 nations and geographies (such as Antartica) for the period 1973-2003.
